A comprehensive, detailed historical analysis of the educational process whereby primary producers and industrial workers in Nova Scotia and the Maritimes were mobilized for enlightenment and collective action. The research work at the St. Francis Xavier University archival collection on the different aspects of the movement has now been completed.
